Socitm Learning draws on the knowledge and expertise of the wider Socitm family including Insight to bring up-to-date learning experiences specifically tailored for local government, the public sector and the Society's expanding membership.

In addition to our more formal training courses, we offer workshop style events to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and experience especially for new and emerging issues.

Using the SFIA / Government IT profession skills frameworks, we actively seek out areas for which there are no or few development offerings, assess the implications for Socitm members and then look to fill the gap.

With our "no cancellation" promise, unless there are no bookings whatsoever, our courses and events will run regardless.

The venues used are comfortable, relaxed, and tailored to the needs of course delegates.

Courses are supported by high quality notes and support material for subsequent reference.

As well as our scheduled events we can, of course, offer on-site courses and workshops tailored to your particular needs. These can offer better value for money where several staff require training. If you have a lesser number of potential attendees, we will still consider running additional public events at a convenient time and location.
